HEARING PERSONALIZATION
FOR MUSIC

Full-spectrum, device-calibrated hearing correction built specifically for music listeners. If your customers buy your products to listen to music, this is the technology that makes it sound right for every ear.

Already shipping in consumer products. Now available for embedding into headphones, speakers, DSP platforms, media players, streaming services, other audio-first software, and consumer electronics.

THE TECHNOLOGY

This is a hearing personalization system purpose-built for music — full-spectrum correction across the entire audible range, calibrated per device, with cross-device sync so the listener's profile follows them. Four interconnected systems, production-proven across macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android.

Full-Spectrum Hearing Correction

Hearing is full spectrum. Music is full spectrum. The correction should be too. Ours uses FIR convolution for full-range precision and SOS biquad filters as a lighter-weight alternative. SOS costs less CPU but trades off correction accuracy. Both topologies ship together so the difference is audible.

You can hear it for yourself by downloading any of our products and listening in minutes.

A Hearing Test Built Into Your Product

We calibrate your device so your users get a professional-grade hearing assessment the moment they open the box. The test covers frequencies up to 20kHz and produces the data that drives everything else.

Your device ships pre-calibrated, and your users get a hearing assessment built directly into the product experience.

AI That Understands Both Hearing and Preference

Users describe what they want in plain language. The AI generates DSP parameters grounded in their hearing profile and subjective preference — then verifies its own output by re-running the signal processing computation before finalizing.

Hearing data, natural language input, and mathematically verified DSP generation — connected in a single pipeline.

Adaptive Limiting That Protects Without Compromising

Hearing correction changes the dynamic range of audio. A multi-stage limiting system manages this transparently — four algorithms, multiband decomposition, and an adaptive gain system that tracks content changes in real time. Original research, built from the ground up.

Listeners hear their music corrected for their hearing, without artifacts, clipping, or audible compression.

CONSUMER-VALIDATED TECHNOLOGY

The technology described on this page is already shipping in consumer products today — and users pay for it.

WHY THIS MATTERS FOR HARDWARE

Before you license any hearing personalization technology, one question matters:

Has anyone outside the company chosen to use this — and pay for it?

ARIA ONE, FullScale, Absolute Zero, Crossfeed, and ARIA Studio are shipping products with paying users. The technology you would be licensing is the same technology already in use in the market.

What you embed in your hardware is something listeners are already choosing on their own.

This offering is not limited to OEM hardware. The same hearing-personalization stack can be brought into media players, streaming services, software audio platforms, and connected playback ecosystems. If a provider wants to explore implementation, Altitude is open to building it directly and works requests in FIFO order.

INTEGRATION MODELS

Multiple pathways to bring this technology into your product — from SDK licensing to fully custom co-development, including media players and streaming services.

SDK Licensing

In development

The hearing correction engine compiled for your platform's audio pipeline, with calibration framework and integration documentation. Your users get hearing personalization within your ecosystem.

Bespoke Integration

Available on engagement

For platforms with custom hardware DSP, specific latency constraints, or proprietary audio pipelines. A tailored integration built to fit your architecture, including device-specific calibration profiles.

Full Platform Co-Development

Available on engagement

The complete hearing personalization stack — test, correction, AI, sync — built into your product from the ground up. One architecture, your platform, ready for production.

Media Player Integration

Open offer

For media players and streaming services that want hearing personalization inside the listening experience. Altitude can build the implementation directly, including hearing test, profile handling, DSP processing, and user-facing controls. Requests are worked FIFO.

Building for Music Listeners?

If your customers listen through hardware, software players, or streaming platforms, we should talk. This technology is already shipping in consumer products and can be embedded into the listening environments people already use.
